Hey everyone. My name is Diane and to be honest with you I am totally out of my depth. I’ve tried posting a few blogs prior to today so I guess you could call me a Blogging Novice! However, I get really confused really quickly. I hope that the Blogging 101 course is going to put me on track and make a real blogger out of me.
Anyone out with the little intro and a little about me.
I’m in the process of a mid life crisis having hit the big 50 a couple of weeks ago. I have three children, a loving gorgeous husband and two naughty Yorkshire terrier dogs. My happy litle life is in a small town, Bridend in South Wales.
I Love anything to do with wool but in all honesty I never seem to have enough hours in the day to complete projects….I sew, knit and my favourite crotchet. Im loving Amigurumi at the mo and given time I’ll be sure to pop my little photos on here. Travelling around the countryside on my day off is another of my favourite pastimes. Camera in hand and its off to go.
I hope you’ll come join me on my everyday journeys from work to home to travel to crochet to photoraphy.
It’s an interesting journey to me; will it be for you?

Hi Diane, welcome to the blogospehere 🙂 I’ve recently rediscovered crochet and am very addicted to it at the moment 😉 Hope to see some of your own projects soon – and pictures of your beautiful countryside. Have fun blogging!

There’s a lot about blogging that takes time to learn and to feel comfortable about. I remember doing a blog a few months after starting called ”Blogging, not as easy as I thought’… Don’t be afraid to ask questions…There is a WordPress support forum https://en.forums.wordpress.com/ and other bloggers can help too. Hi Diane, welcome to blogging and thank you for following my blog, I started blogging myself 2 months ago and I’m really enjoying it although there’s so much to learn, so you’re not on your own. Looking forward to revisiting. Bernadette.

Hi Bernadette. I find it totally mind boggling and totally agree, there is so much to learn. Today’s task has certainly stumped me. I think I’ll be spending the day just staring and pondering!

Thanks ClareMary. I’ll be honest it was not a birthday I was looking forward to but so far so good. Hopefully my 50s will zip along like a breeze! 😀

I retired, married my soul partner and began to travel in my 50’s. Published my first book at 65 and working with a group of people interested in finding a cure for Lyme. Things to do, people to meet and this blogging course will certainly introduce you to some of the more interesting souls out there. You’re young. Have fun!

The other half of my life, all I did was work. Got a lot to catch up on. You’ll really enjoy retirement, especially with someone you love to share it with. Have fun!

I know the feeling. Some days I feel that all I do is live to work

Blimey. I hit reply without finishing…
I spend 5 days out of my week in work. Some days I feel worn out before I’ve started. This I’m sure as you know doesn’t include the full time job I have when I get home, of cooking, cleaning and shopping!

Glad we have now met each other! I like your theme- looks like you can do more with it than the one I’m currently playing with. There’s so much to learn. I’ll be interested to see your craft as well as your writing. And yes, time is definitely finite!!
